Welcome to eSafe
eSafe monitors user behaviour in the digital environments made available to young people by schools, colleges and local authorities.
This vital service alerts schools and colleges to the earliest warning signs of risks to safety, welfare and wellbeing and enables early interventions - supporting education leaders with their statutory duties, as defined by the Department for Education.
eSafe not only monitors words and phrases for risk markers in all languages but is the only digital monitoring service that can also detect evidence of safeguarding risks in static and moving images that aren't tagged with descriptive copy. This is particularly important in the current pandemic, as isolated imagery is often the only place where signs of the trending safeguarding risks (such as webcam grooming and child sexual exploitation) will be found.
"eSafe in our college has made a massive difference. We recently had a visit from Ofsted and were praised for the monitoring of our devices."
Irene Farragher, Lakes College
"eSafe has taken an awful lot of pressure off us...we know there's a team of behaviour specialists in the background, monitoring the activity of students in real-time"
Terry Laing, Allsop High
"The College uses eSafe to inform the personal development and welfare agenda, and promote proactive messages about safety, wellbeing and pastoral support."
Andrew Pickles, Blackburn College
